"Grandma Bowerman was not able to be buried in Shannonville in the plot with
her husband due to some mix up in burials, her grave site had been used in
error. Therefore, my Dad purchased 4 plots in the Belleville Cemetery. Two
for he and mother and the other 2 for brother Bill. At the same time then
Grandma Bowerman bought two as well. One for herself and the other she was
thinking of Aunt Dorothy. These are in a row, from left to right, Grandma,
Dad &Mom, & Bill. I go there to remember at least once a year. Bill's wife
Ruth has had a stone erected with the data on it and will expect to be buried
there when that time arrives. Their son's names are on the stone, as loving
parents of them. Aunt Dorothy was cremated and her ashes sent to our Bill and
he scattered them as she had requested that he do for her. I can remember
once going with Mom, Dad & Grandma to the Shannonville Cemetery and being
strictly admonished as to where I was to step or touch anything as there was
quantities of poison ivy there. "
